Sample Itinerary – 11 Days/9 Nights

 

 

Day1  

  • Depart from Miami International Airport.

Day2   

  • Arrive Buenos Aires, Argentina, where you will be met by your full time bilingual SoccerTours.net tour manager. Transfer by private motor coach to check in to your accommodation – players and staff at professional soccer training center with on site accommodation (STA); parents at a 4 star hotel (half an hour driving distance) in the heart of the city.
  • Lunch at STA.
  • Parents will be met at their hotel (every day team is at training) and will be assisted by our SoccerTours.net tour guide with optional city sightseeing and souvenir shopping.
  • First training session with a professionally licensed Argentine clinician.
  • Everybody transfers to a local restaurant for a Welcome Dinner Party at “Locos por el Futbol” (Crazy about soccer)
  • Transfer back to STA.

Day3               

  • Breakfast at your respective accommodation.
  • Play your first friendly match vs. a local team.
  • Everybody enjoys lunch at STA.
  • Transfer by private motor coach for an introductory tour of the Argentine capital. Often termed the ‘Paris’ of South America, Buenos Aires is one of the continent’s most glamorous cities. The main sites are in a relatively compact area near the old colonial heart of the city, the Plaza de Mayo, established in 1580. They including the Pink House, the Colon Theater, the Government Palace, the world’s widest avenue – ‘la 9 de Julio’ – with its ‘Obelisco’ monument. Also nearby is the lively La Boca area, the city’s historical Little Italy. Dinner for everyone at STA.

Day4   

  • After breakfast the team returns to the training fields with a professionally licensed Argentine clinician.
  • The group transfers to attend a Pro Game from the Argentine National League. Return to STA for dinner.

Day5               

  • Breakfast at your respective accommodation.
  • Play your second friendly match vs. a local team.
  • Lunch.
  • This afternoon depart for a tour of Buenos Aires’ famous De La Plata River. Board a private catamaran and travel through the Parana de Las Palmas Delta labyrinth of islands and inlets beautifully interwoven with rivers and streams. Return to the STA for dinner.

Day6   

  • Breakfast at your respective accommodation.
  • Travel outside the city and into the interior of the country to experience a traditional and romantic part of Argentine culture – the life of a ‘Gaucho’. Gauchos are South American cattlemen, much like the cowboys of North America. Historically living on horseback, modernization has forced most onto fenced-in ranches. Though they can no longer ride as freely as before, they still work hard mending fences, branding cattle, rounding up the herds and tending the sheep – all of which makes for a fascinating day out. Includes: Argentine BBQ, Gaucho show and horse rides.
  • Return to the STA for dinner and a free evening.

Day7               

  • Breakfast at your respective accommodation.
  • Transfer to watch a Pro team training session. Later, enjoy the Boca Juniors or River Plate museum.
  • Lunch.
  • Play your third friendly match vs. a local team.
  • Dinner at the STA.

Day8   

  • Breakfast at your respective accommodation.
  • Return to the training fields for a training session with our professional Argentine clinician.
  • Lunch.
  • Shopping tour.
  • Dinner (Optional Tango Show).

Day9               

  • Breakfast at your respective accommodation.
  • Training session with your own Coaching Staff.
  • Lunch.
  • Training session with your Coaching Staff.
  • Dinner at STA.

Day10 

  • Breakfast at your respective accommodation.
  • Play your fourth friendly match vs. a local team.
  • Lunch.
  • Free time to explore the city.
  • Farewell Dinner Party at “Un Aplauso Para el Asador” (Claps for the BBQ Master). The BBQ master will teach you to make a “Parrillada” Argentine style.

Day11 

  • Breakfast at your respective accommodation.
  • Free time for souvenir shopping.
  • Lunch and farewell.
  • Check out and depart for Buenos Aires International Airport for the return journey to the United States.

Day12 

  • Arrive Miami, USA.
